Geneva still retains a few of its buildings but the roofs
are gone. Square nails and some creative
notching in the logs date the buildings back to the late 1800s. We haven’t found much history on it.

One book claims a bandit’s loot was buried near Geneva under
a tree with a dagger carved on it. I
would say you have a better chance of winning Lotto than finding that tree after
more than one hundred years.
We’re going back on Saturday, September 12th, to
spend the whole day poking around. The
trail is very easy and there are lots of camping sites along the way for those
who care to stay.
HAPPY TRAILS!
