ANOTHER OF THE MANY ADVENTURES OF PASS PATROL

LAMARTINE  -  Campfire Tales - February 1995

“Why not?  I am the new and improved ’95 Blazer.  I have better clearance, better suspension, and enough V-6 power to climb anything Colorado calls a Mountain.”

“That’s good.  But the snow is mighty deep.”

“I am equipped with 30 inch BFG All Terrain Tires to plow through that stuff.”

“That’s good too, but once the snow gets above the bumper, it’ll lift the tires off the ground.”

“I’ve got the new Warn X8000i winch to get me out if YOU get me stuck.”

Did I mention that Blaze has a bit of an ego?  It’s caused by all those people standing around in parking lots admiring her.

“But it’s cold out there and I might get wet stomping through all that snow.”

“You won’t get wet.  Trust me.”

“Okay Blaze, but if I get wet and cold, you’ll be eating low-octane budget-gas for a week.”

The remains of the mine site are plentiful.  A shaft for the mine is sealed.
